This desirable object, which is one of the most important inventions in human history, has successfully maintained more or less the same characteristic structure, but has also challenged the boundaries of the innovative thinking of designers, inventors, and manufacturers around the world.

Viewing an object that has changed very little throughout history enables close and detailed examination of the changes from different perspectives: cultural, fashion, medicalscientific, material, technological, and so forth.
