| Discovering Roots |
November 08, 2012
Alongside the Common Roots exhibition, Design Museum Holon has decided to include the public in a search for objects that have an interesting story behind them. We're looking for that special object from the past that you've kept. Something nostalgic that goes with you every time you move house, something you just can't throw away, an object that has traveled a long way from a distant (or nearby) country, and has an interesting story, or an object that was created using a technology that has passed from the world. Objects can be silverware, lamps, kitchenware, crocheted cloths, Gobelin tapestries, vases, fashion items, mementos, and so forth. Photographs of objects and their stories can be sent to museum@dmh.org.il. |
