Nights at the Museum
17 January 2012 -  16 February 2012

Imagine for a moment that you're in a dark space and can't find the light switch... Not a very pleasant feeling, perhaps even a bit scary. Wouldn't it be nice if you could switch the lights on by whistling?

Turns out it can be done. Existing technologies enable us to interact with electrical appliances, and we can operate and control them in totally new and unfamiliar ways.

Design Museum Holon and the Interaction Lab at HIT invite you to take part in a workshop in which you can design and create a light fixture that will be surprisingly operated by sensors.

For parents and children aged 8-12
The activity lasts an hour and a half

Price: NIS 65 per child (includes admission to the Museum); accompanying adult - no additional charge to the price of admission to the Museum
Once a month, Thursdays at 17:30
