Nights at the Museum - Homage to Bruno Munari
Old-new ways of understanding creativity and of awakening it.
The Italian designer, artist, and intellectual Bruno Munari (1907-1998) dealt extensively with the attempt to understand and develop the creativity of children and adults alike.
Munari believed that every individual was endowed with creativity and capable, if provided with the right tools and conditions, of creating objects of aesthetic value.
One of the best ways to develop creativity was, in his view, simply to play (The Japanese word for play, "asobi", also means art). As part of his methods for enhancing creativity Munari developed different kinds of exercises that combine design, play, technology, story writing, and more.
