Overdose (Working Title)
January 21

The exhibition will aim to demonstrate what happens when a designer or an artist try and challenge the core values of an object. What happens to an object when one of its most important characters/values/qualities is taken out in an attempt to create new order, to rearrange- reconstruct - reorganize its parts /components. By way of using this "exercise" to make and give the object new meaning, new purpose, new mission.
Once a fundamental function is ignored in an object, a paradoxical situation is made, and a new space and endless possibilities open up. This space is unlimited in scale, potential, or manifestation. It is a space for imagination, a meeting point, where the artist and the viewer meet.

From the collection of Galila Barzilay Hollander.

Neil Nenner and Avihai Mizarhi
