The Design Lab is hosting architect Ayelet Carmon and Prof. Mette Ramsgard Thomsen in a project in which smart textile surfaces are created. The process of creating fabric using a computerized industrial knitting machine will be visible to visitors at the Lab. |

| Twice a year the Design Lab at Design Museum Holon hosts students and teachers from design academies in Israel for a semester of studying, experiencing, and joint thinking. We consider the opportunity to host young students at the Museum a wonderful way to talk about design in the making. Visitors are invited to follow what is being done in the Lab on this blog and, of course, to come and visit on weekends, meet the students, and learn something new about design. |

| The Design Lab is hosting Pini Leibovich, Yiftach Zdafee, and first-year students from the Department of Industrial Design at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design for three months of activity and study in the Lab. The course is designed to provide the students with basic tools and insights with regard to terms such as context, concept, idea, form, structure, and function. The tools and insights developed over the year will, at the year's end, be assembled into a clear result. |
