Unfold in collaboration with
Publieke Ruimte, Sannah Belzer & Noa Haim

Net Work Lab proposes a social and educational process that can also be implemented in
the local community and revives an old craft in a new way. With a few simple interventions
(a grid, pegs to facilitate weaving, and a construction for suspension) and a series of
instructional workshops, the project employs the open-source approach to transform a
public space into a net manufacturing machine that enables the community to create its
own shading elements.

The proposal, which was designated for the Alumim schoolyard, utilizes community
public spaces to provide the community with tools and infrastructure rather than
prefabricated solutions.
