Talila Abraham Talila Abraham

Talila Abraham graduated at the Holon Institute of Technology at the Industrial Design department .In 2006 she received an Msc for studying Management Design, at The Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. she began her creative career, working as a senior designer at Dafna Shoe Inc for six years. In 1999 she set up her own design studio focusing on the area of practical art design with emphasis on emotional touch, experimenting and experiencing new materials and objects.

In 2004, together with her husband she established Metalace Company.
The firm designs and manufactures contemporary metal objects. In 2007 due to ever growing demand for products she launched her own factory. Talila's designs are inspired from the work of unknown women and merge the unique personal and romantic feeling of handcraft with contemporary materials and advanced technologies. her goal is to bring functional beauty into people's living spaces - 'Jewelry for the home'.

All her products are individually processed and hand treated for optimal shape and structure leading to a distinctive pattern of a "one of"unique product. In the transition from the "language" and texture of fabric to the stiffness of stainless steel, she trys to preserve an art form that is constantly losing its significance.
