For this unique exhibition, legendary milliner Stephen Jones has chosen 20 special hats from different periods of his career, hats that share sculptural qualities with the building in which they are presented. Viewing the unique architecture of Design Museum Holon Stephen Jones creates a dialogue with Ron Arad’s iconic museum building. Like the museum’s design, Jones’ hats combine the principles of sculpture, architecture, design, and art.

Stephen Jones (born 1957) is a leading british milliner, who is considered one of the world’s most radical and important milliners of the late 20th and early 21th centuries. He is also one of the most prolific designers, having created hats for the catwalk shows of many leading fashion designers, such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Dior, Comme Des Garחons, Marc Jacobs and John Galliano. Jones co-curated the 2009 exhibition “Hats: an Anthology” for the Victoria and Albert Museum.
